History and Mission
The Unique85 Association is an association that brings together the graduate class of 1985 of Boys High School Umuaka from around the globe. It was first started as an online group on 25th February, 2018 by Mr Austin Dike and Chief Uzoma Ahamefule. It sought to reconnect all the students who started school in 1980 and graduated , or was meant to graduate in 1985 or anyone who joined the class in between the stipulated years of 1980-1985.
It’s main focus is to create a sense of camaraderie amongst its members. Unite behind the common background of those early school years.
Pool our common resources and talents together, to improve the lives of its members and positively impact our communities and subsequent generations.
Its Pioneer executives were elected in September 2019 with a new constitution to govern the affairs of the association. The first executive committee was comprised of Chief (Barr) Johnson Anyiam as President. Mr Austin Dike as General Secretary. Capt Cris Ogueri as Director of Operations. Engr Lawrence Onyejelem as Financial Secretary and Chief Lewis Nwanarado as Treasurer.
